Another disappointment
Another let down in my life
I loved that woman
With all my heart
She said she'd be my wife
She gave me hope
For one last chance
Then disappeared
Into the night

I guess she never really knew me
Never knowing how much i care
Would she ever consider how i feel?
How deeply i am in despair?
My heart i wore on my sleeve
Of the shirt i gave for her to wear
Too bad she never tried it on
For love she was unprepared.
