The silent darkness lingers,
Heavy on my heart,
I fumble round inside this place,
Trying not to fall apart,
The one that holds the key for escape,
Won't let me yet depart,
And still i am faithful to my love,
As i have been from the start.
So though somewhat neglected,
This love matures no less,
The matter thou contested,
Although admittedly the best,
I hold my faith as best i can,
And hope my strength passes this test.
